Description
Youth and teens with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and other Tic Disorders often grow up hearing what they can’t do—what’s “distracting,” “inappropriate,” or “too difficult.” This session focuses on flipping that narrative. Rather than viewing tics only as obstacles, this talk explores how young people can recognize their unique strengths, build confidence, and use their lived experience to their advantage. Through real-life examples, practical tools, and relatable language, this session aims to empower young people with Tic Disorders while also equipping them with concrete ways to communicate their needs.
